All vehicle rentals are governed by a comprehensive Rental Agreement provided at the time of booking confirmation or during vehicle collection. This document outlines the specific terms, conditions, insurance information, charges, and your responsibilities for that rental period. In the event of any discrepancies between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.
Eligibility Criteria

4. Car Pickup and Drop-off

7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rented Vehicle
- Use of the vehicle for any illegal activities is strictly prohibited. This includes racing, rallying, off-roading, or any other dangerous pursuits. Transporting hazardous materials or sub-letting the vehicle to unauthorized individuals is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden, as is exceeding passenger or weight limits. Operating outside agreed geographical boundaries without prior approval is also not permitted.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and fees.
8. Liability Restrictions
To the fullest extent allowed by law in Dumfries, Car Hire accepts no responsibility for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the rental amount you paid in the last 12 months.
